SMS MARKETING AND SUBSCRIBER DATA

When you voluntarily provide your phone number and agree to receive SMS marketing from Avenor, we may collect your phone number, consent status, the date and method of your signup, message interactions, purchase history, and website activity, including products or pages viewed. We may also collect related technical information, such as your device type, browser, IP address, and general location where available.

We use this information to send SMS messages you requested, including early access announcements, discount offers, product launches, availability updates, cart reminders, and other Avenor marketing communications. We may also use this information to personalize messages, measure campaign performance, maintain accurate subscriber records, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Subscriber information may be stored and processed through Shopify and Shopify Messaging. We may share necessary information with Shopify, telecommunications providers, mobile carriers, and other service providers that help us operate and deliver our SMS program. These providers may access subscriber information only as needed to provide their services or comply with applicable law.

Mobile information, SMS consent records, and opt-in data will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We retain subscriber information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate our SMS program, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your SMS consent, by contacting us at contactavenor1@gmail.com. Opting out of SMS marketing does not affect information that we must retain for legal, security, or transactional purposes.

You may exercise any of these rights where indicated on the Services or by contacting us using the contact details provided below. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, including rights related to data processed by Shopify, visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law.

In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof that you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.

We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

Complaints

If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the contact details provided below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the contact details set out below or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Transfers

Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country where you live.

If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the United Kingdom, as applicable, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

SMS MARKETING AND SUBSCRIBER DATA

When you voluntarily provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Avenor, we may collect your phone number, consent status, signup date and time, signup source, IP address, device and browser information, message-delivery and interaction data, purchase history, cart activity, and website activity such as products or pages viewed.

We use this information to send the messages you requested, including early-access information, website passwords, discount codes, product-launch announcements, restock and availability updates, promotional offers, and cart reminders. We may also use it to personalize messages, measure campaign performance, maintain consent and opt-out records, prevent misuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

SMS subscriber information may be stored or processed by Avenor and service providers that help operate our store and messaging program, including Shopify, Klaviyo, telecommunications providers, mobile carriers, hosting providers, analytics providers, and other vendors acting on our behalf. We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for these providers to deliver their services, maintain security, process opt-outs, or comply with applicable law.

We do not sell mobile information. Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, and opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction does not prevent disclosure to service providers and telecommunications partners that are necessary to operate and deliver the SMS program.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to an Avenor marketing text. For help, reply HELP or contact us at contactavenor1@gmail.com.

We retain SMS subscriber information and consent records only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, honor opt-out requests, maintain legally required records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with our obligations. Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing contactavenor1@gmail.com. Withdrawing SMS consent does not affect information that we must retain for legal, security, transactional, or recordkeeping purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this website, update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as required by applicable law.
